IGI offers various types of remedial expertise based on years of experience. Our approach begins with source treatment and has resulted in the successful resolution of various environmental problems. IGI has successfully completed large scale excavations to remove source soils while maintaining ongoing business operations for our customers. We utilize appropriate materials as backfill and apply proper compaction methods to ensure that no settlement occurs after resurfacing.

Our strength is our multidisciplinary approach to understanding the problem, selecting the proper methods and approach for pilot testing, completing the remedial design, implementing treatment and applying an operation and maintenance program that ensures maximum operation times. In order to achieve this, we apply our knowledge in areas of electrical and mechanical systems, chemical applications to control water chemistry, air flow dynamics, pump operation, pressures, filtration techniques, and preventative maintenance practices. We utilize telemetry for remote system monitoring and daily notifications of the status of the system.

IGI applies a flexible approach when operating treatment systems. Data is collected and tracked, and the system adjusted as necessary in order to maximize contaminant extraction and treatment. Our team has installed systems with low noise status in residential areas. Our reporting is thorough and accurate and allows the customer to track the operational history of the treatment system. We routinely work with PADEP and local municipal authorities to establish discharge permits for our treatment systems, and we consistently meet the applicable permit discharge limits.

IGI has the expertise to evaluate, design and apply polymer technology for those needing to coagulate and remove particle fines from a waste stream. We have applied the use of large geotextile bags to capture coagulated fines for drying and offsite disposal.
